- When you have a second battery installed, there is a button next to it to choose whether to switch on the second battery or not.
  When you switch on both batteries at the same time, the bike will use the power of the two batteries.
  Please note: The higher voltage and power of the two batteries will be used first, the power of both batteries will be used at the same time when the voltage and power of the two batteries at the same level.
- The Ridstar Q20 Pro has three working modes:
  - Pedal Mode - Pedal the bike as you would any non-electric bike.
  - PAS Mode - The motor will assist you with power as you pedal. Choose between 5 PAS levels.
  - Pure Electric Mode - Twist the throttle and get more power the more you twist.
- Mostly, you should maintain your ebike in the same way you would maintain a mechanical bicycle. If cleaning your ebike, ensure the battery is installed properly and unplugged from mains power. When cleaning, try not to get the disc brakes wet or greasy and to lubricate the chain and cassette afterwards.
  We suggest wiping your bike dry afterwards whenever it gets wet and storing it indoors.
- The law treats electric bikes, or e-bikes, the same way as conventional push bicycles, so long as the following are adhered:
  - The ebike can't exceed 15.5 mph (25 kmh) in power assisted mode.
  - The motor must be a maximum size of 250 watts.
  - Power is immediately cut when the brakes are applied.
  - The minimum age for riding an ebike is 14 years of age.
  - An ebike must weigh a maximum of 40 kg.
  If the above is not adhered to, it is treated as a moped/motorcycle instead.
- In the UK, electric bikes, or e-bikes, are legally know as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs). To be classed as an EAPC, it must:
  - Have working pedals which activate the electric motor assistance.
  - Have a rated motor power of 250 W or less.
  - Not assist the rider when travelling at over 15 mph.
